Mama Pening taught Home Economics at Awihao, Elementary School in the Philippines for so many years until she migrated with her family to Jacksonville, Florida on 1986. Her parents are Pedro Lloren Madrona and Dalmacia Cuadra Acedillo from Jagna Bohol. In her father side, Mama Pening’s Grandparents are Ciriaco Mandrona and Maria Lloren and on her mother side are Jose Acedillo and Susan Cuadra. She has two siblings Emelia and Natividad. Emelia married to Adelo Achas with five children; Domelita, Ester, Remecita, Teresita, and Adelo Jr., Natividad the other sister was married to Venancio Sadudaquil with one son Robin. Other two children of Natividad is Marrietta married to Arturo Cimafranca and Pedrito married to Rizalina.
Her father Pedro is the second eldest in the family of four: Antonio is the first, Dolores, and Tomas. Pedro works with Police Force in Talibon, Bohol. Ma Pening was only six years old when her father Pedro died so she was put under the guardianship of her Lola Maria.
On the other hand, her mother Dalmacia is the third sibling in a family of nine: her sister Anastacia married to Leon Casinas with nine children: Leo the eldest married with seven children, Uldarico married to Cresencia with five children, Virgina married to Vicente Tagaro with two children, Alfonsa married to Ponciano Amora with five children, Marquida married to Vivencio Abueva with six children, Olympia married to Bertulio Bernados with one child, Elpedio married to Judit with three children, Martina married to John Paterson with four children and Constantina married to Ely Serna with five children.
The older brother of her Mother Dalmacia is Pablo ‘Tatay Amboy,’ he is married to Nanay Edad [Caridad] with three children: Lily, Vivencio, and Rafaela; while the younger brother Fidel ‘Iyo,’ [Moncado follower] married with three children. Her younger sister Paulina ‘Imay’ remained single all her life. Basilio, the sixth in the family married to Ponciana with four children. Her brother Pedro married and leave in Pagadian City, while her younger sister Meiquela is married to Renato Zunega with one child and Jesus, the youngest of all siblings.
Constancia, a younger sister of her mother Dalmacia died in Mindanao with several children: Cornellia the youngest is married to Eustaquio Cervantes their children are Joven, Eufemia, and Emmanuel.
